Against the X-M5 and ZV-E10 II
B&H prices on November 3, 2026, all in the US:
| Camera | Body only | With kit lens |
|---|---|---|
| OM System PEN | $999.99 | $1,099.99 (14-42mm) |
| Fujifilm X-M5 | $899.00 | $999.00 (15-45mm) |
| Sony ZV-E10 II | $1,198.00 | $1,298.00 (16-50mm) |
The PEN costs about $100 more than the X-M5 and about $200 less than the ZV-E10 II, body or kit. It is not the cheapest of the three. We compared prices only, not image quality or video performance, which we have not tested.

Who it is for
Our read: the PEN suits someone who wants a small, stylish camera with a viewfinder and in-body stabilization, and who may grow into the Micro Four Thirds lens range. If you mainly want the lowest price or a vlogging-first camera, the X-M5 or ZV-E10 II may fit better. The $100 kit premium over the body buys the 14-42mm III lens that OM System launched with the camera.
